Benoit Pouliot to have phone hearing with NHL Player Safety
November 11, 2017 - 10:18 am
Categories:
Buffalo Sabres winger Benoit Pouliot will have a phone hearing for his hit on Florida's Keith Yandle in Buffalo's 4-1 loss to the Panthers on Friday night. The hit, which knocked Yandle's helmet off, was not penalized, but the NHL's department of player safety sees the hit worthy of some form of supplementary discipline.
Phone hearings could see only a fine, but often phone hearings bring a suspension between 1 and 4 games.
